Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This policy explains what Figlytics (“we”, “the service”) does with your data. It covers both this website (figlytics.adx.cool) and the application (app.figlytics.adx.cool). Figlytics is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Figma, Inc.
The short version
- We do not store your Figma data on our servers. It is fetched and rendered in real time.
- Your Figma access token stays in your browser and is sent directly to the Figma API.
- Analytics only run if you accept them. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
Data we process
Figma data
When you connect a Figma organization, the application calls the official Figma REST API from your browser and displays the results — components, variables, styles, teams, comments and library analytics. This data is held in memory for the duration of your session and is not persisted to any Figlytics database, log, or backup.
Figma access tokens
Your Figma personal access token (or OAuth token) is stored exclusively in your browser’s local storage. It is transmitted only to api.figma.com, never to a Figlytics server. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently. Figlytics requests read-only scopes and cannot modify, publish, or delete anything in your Figma organization.
Analytics
With your consent, we use PostHog on EU-hosted infrastructure (eu.i.posthog.com) to measure page views and which sections of the site are used. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage and processes your IP address and user agent to derive coarse country-level location.
No analytics script is loaded before you accept. If you decline, nothing is initialised and no identifier is written. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie preferences link in the site footer; withdrawing consent stops collection and clears the stored identifier.
Hosting logs
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve pages and protect against abuse. These logs are retained for a short period by the provider and are not used for profiling.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not store the contents of your Figma files.
- We do not require an account to browse this marketing site.
Legal basis and retention
Analytics are processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. Hosting logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the service. Analytics events are retained by PostHog for a rolling period of up to 12 months; Figma data is never retained.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because we hold almost no identifiable data, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage — but you are welcome to contact us and we will act within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In France, this is the CNIL.
Third parties
Figlytics relies on a small number of processors: Figma, Inc. (the API your browser queries directly), PostHog (analytics, EU region, only with consent), and our hosting provider. Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
